GABA CORPORATION, hereinafter referred to as the "the company", strives to satisfy its clients and gain their trust by providing high quality man-to-man English lesson services based on 3 missions as follows: "Help people achieve their most audacious life goals;" "Nurture the ability to compete on the global stage;" "Contribute to the mutual understanding of various cultures." The company believes that it is a social responsibility to protect any and all personal information possessed by the company, and it is absolutely necessary to achieve the aforementioned 3 missions. Based on this awareness, the company has set forth the following Personal Information Protection Statement and will strive to implement each policy.
1. The Principles of Acquisitions
In principle, the company will notify persons of the purpose and clarify the scope of the usage of any personal information through the person in charge, before the company acquires any necessary personal information.
2. The Principles of the Use
The company will use the acquired personal information within the limitations of each person's agreement. Also, the company will gain each person's consent beforehand if the company changes the purpose of use of a person's personal information.
3. Assurance of Accuracy and Security
The company will maintain the acquired personal information in an accurate and updated state, and also, execute both preventive and corrective measures against leak, loss, destruction, alteration and unauthorized access of personal information.
4. Disclosure and Provision to a Third Party
The company will not disclose or provide personal information to a third party without each person's consent except in cases determined by legal statute.
5. Subcontracting Personal Information-related Duties to Affiliated Companies
In instances when the company needs to outsource its duties which contain acquired personal information to a subcontractor, the company will carefully select reliable business partners and properly manage subcontracting duties by making contracts aimed towards the prevention of business partners leaking any acquired personal information.
6. Disclosure, Modification, Deletion, and Complaints, Consultations Regarding Personal Information
The company will immediately and reasonably deal with requests for disclosure, modification or deletion, etc. of any personal information after confirming the identification of the person(s) making the request; in addition, any complaints or consultations concerning personal information will be immediately handled by contacting the person in charge.
7. The Personal Information of Minors
The company also commits itself to protecting minors' personal information as well as that of adults. The company will acquire, if necessary, not only the confirmation and consent of persons under the age of 18, but also the consent of their parents or guardians before handling their personal information.
8. The Internal System
The company commits itself to properly protecting, managing and using acquired personal information through an internal system to protect personal information and the company also commits itself to continuously improving its internal system. Accordingly, the company will, if needed, review and revise this policy and internal regulations relating to personal information protection by periodically conducting audits in order to inspect the internal management of personal information protection. Also, the company provides training on personal information with all employees who are engaged in the company's operations.
9. Compliance with laws and regulations
The company will comply with any external laws, policies set by the government, regulations and other rules relating to personal information.
